New Group Fitness Instructor

I'm a brand new group fitness instructor! I attended group fitness classes for years and tried a little of everything! I'm very excited about my new career and very hunger y for new information. Group fitness wasn't my first choice because I have two left feet in the choreographing department but it's a start. Fitness is a lifestyle for me and I'm hoping this fitness forum can help me learn more, and share what I'm learning at the same time! As I'm very new I'd love all the advice you can offer )

One thing I'd love some help with is picking out the right shoes for classes such as cardio combat. I run a lot and were very excited with New Balance and Vibram made the barefoot shoe (that looks like an actual shoe) and loved them for classes because I was VERY light on my feet and it was awesome....until I started developing serious pain in my calf. I know the importance of stability in a shoe so I'm looking for recommendations for a VERY lightweight shoe with proper support for injury prevention.

My favourite shoes are Saucony ProGrid Guide... I think I've bought them for at least the past 3 years... they just work for me. Do you have a store like The Running Room in your area where they assess your gait and recommend shoes that should work best for you?
