How much time do you spend working out?

I know people who practically live at the gym but I'm sure several of you know that working out longer than an hour can cause your body to start producing more lactic acid, cortisol, along with other things...

Personally speaking, once I get going - it's hard to stop. How much time do you spend working out?

45 minutes tops. 90 seconds rest between sets.

When I did more dumbell, natural resistance workout, it'd usually be 30-45 minutes.

When I jog, I tend to let myself get a little lost so 1-1.5 hours.

Currently, I try to jog and do push ups when I can. I try to do at least 100 push ups a day but, and this is not a good thing, it is spread out throughout the day whenever I get a chance (sometimes I just do a few in the server room then get back to work lol)

On average 45-60 minutes tops per session. I might go for a run several hours later, but not without some recovery and nutrient intake in between. Do not wanna be catabolic.

If you do push ups every day, they will help you none. You don't build muscle while working out, you build it while you rest and recover. If you are doing the same exercise every day, you aren't giving your muscles any time to heal. That means they will never increase in size, and, they will actually become weaker. Try every couple days.

My strength and olympic lifting sessions can last up to 60 minutes but only because my rest periods are so long. My daily metabolic conditioning work generally runs between 5-20 minutes per session - but at a very high intensity.

1 hr sessions of intense exercise. don't go too long as you might be burning your muscle cause you have used up all your energy. testosterone levels start playing up and you will overtrain. try to avoid staying in gym too long not good for you
