One more new member!

Hi, im Joe, age 14. I have always felt unconfident with my weight. So, i have decided to do something about it! I first realised that something needed to be done last year when i went on holiday. I didn't take off my top once. It got me really annoyed that i wouldn't take it off because of my weight.

I don't class myself as 'overweight' because i was much fatter, but now its all just gathered flab in my belly area, which i have read is the hardest area to get off for males, making me more determined to get rid of by next year, for my next holiday to the Caribbean. I need to boost my confidence and get rid of this pain on my belly!

I have looked all over the internet and videos have all said to do ab workouts to loose fat. Months and Months after i have continuously done them i get told that your just building muscle under fat! So, i have forced myself to begin to go jogging. I am not a sporty person. I rarely do sports. Only running when i force myself to do it, i really don't like it that much until i have done it. Then, i feel great! I will begin to go swimming, but the same thing is stopping me. My weight. I can't do it by myself so i have looked online for a community which support each other while they are trying to loose weight and i hope that this one will help me along my way :)

Good for you!! I love to hear that people are starting to take charge of their health! If you build those habits now it will definitely be an asset to you in years to come. Find something that you like to do for exercise. You have to watch your food consumption. Be very careful of all the extra sugar you consume, it can be avoided.
