16 Weeks to Get in Shape

Hey everyone,

My name is Clayton and I live in Seattle. Last year I graduated from college and (thanks to the economy) couldn't get a job. So, instead, I had to create my own company, which involved me sitting in front of my computer for about 10 hours a day.

Anyway, 9 months later, I need to get back in shape. A friend and I are doing a 16-week challenge to get in shape and I thought it would be a good idea to join a fitness forum to learn what I can. Plus having a bunch of people to keep me accountable is going to help too.

Anyway, my 16-week goal is to be able to run from my apartment in Seattle to Blaine Stairs (a very steep set of stairs on a steep hill in Seattle), up Blaine Stairs, and back to my apartment without stopping.

Oh, and my username is Kaizen. Kaizen is a Japanese philosophy of making very small improvements that stack on each other and bring you to your goal. That's been the way I live my life, and I think it's a great mindset for fitness and exercise.
