Need to lose fat

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums. I am 18, 5'8 and I weigh around 226 pounds. I would like to lose weight but I've been having trouble doing it. I used to kind of lose around 10 pounds in about 2 weeks on a treadmill and gain it all back every now and then, but the treadmill broke and this time I'm really determined. I have a pull up bar and those ultimate push up things and that's about it. At the moment, I don't have any money to spend on equipment so that's out of the question. What I really want to know is what I can do that is as effective as a run on the treadmill, and what else I can do to burn fat by exercising in my room. I would also like to know what to eat and when to eat it. For instance breakfast lunch and dinner, and what to eat in between. I have tried to eat less before, but I think my problem was that I was practically starving myself, and I ended up eating a lot less than I was supposed to. Also am I allowed to have things like whole wheat bread and turkey cold cuts? Thanks for the help.

you really dont need to buy any fitness equipment to lose weight...you should eat 6 small meals a day and drink up to 8 glasses of water,

try eat food in its purest form eg potatos boiled,no fried food, grilled meats lots of veg...stick to the food chart for your meals eat whole grain breads there more filling

dont drink sugary drinks or diet or jucie the make you retain water making you feel bloated and un-energetic only water, any will do it dosnt have to be bottled as long as its from a safe water source

go joging 3-4 times a week and always walk try walk for 30 min or more...not slow normal walking, fast paced

dont worry if the scale says you havent lost weight at all in a week or two most of the time you wont ... try add in weight training the more lean muscle you have the more cals you burn check out your bmr online to see how many cals you burn by not moving and reduce it by around 500 cals

nutrition is around 70-80 percent weight loss the rest is from exercise

keep to small goals like 5-10 pounds a month an hack small chunck off insted of takleing 40 - 50 pounds in 3 months

good luck keep it up and you will lose weight

Exercise is must, if you want to keep the weight off and not just be subject to the yo yo diet syndrome. Cardio and Weight training is both forms of exercise must be included.
