Old People's "before and after shots"

OK, most of the threads were young guys, so here is one for everyone! I lost over 35kg , went from 110/120 kilograms (did not weigh my self before starting had been as high as 119kg).

Went down to 76kg. Then I started working out 3 or 4 months ago (Rome was not built in a day!). I have a long way to go. I do gym 6 days a week usually, time off if I am too sore or have injuries. I was doing 35klms a week jog, 44klms a week walk. Built upto 79kgs.(from 76kgs)

I aquired a Tri Bike and intend to replace 44klms of walking with 200klms a week cycling (to start) and will still jog 35klms a week. 6am cycle, 10am core, 3pm weights, 7pm jog, daily.

I am taking some more pics in March. I have some serious injuries atm (blew groin) and struggle with 5 crushed vertibrae from an MVA years ago. That is the only reason I pause with pain.

I can see the pics....great work Ric!

(how long did it take to get down to 76kg)

from december 2008 to october 2009 i went down to 84.5. I started gym about october and was around 76kg in decamber, now 79kg. I wanted to build up some bulk for heavier lifting. It is trial and error with food and routines, my new routine is a bit of a let down. I am starting again today after a few weeks of less work.

The pictures are on my profile as well.

I'm 52 and after tripping over the weights for the past 7 years or so I began workingout again a few weeks ago.

6'2 200lbs

Here's the before the after is comming.

Ric that is awesome dude.

What you have done so far from those pics is a transformation. You look like a different person in my opinion. Should be an inspiration to a lot of people.

You're in better shape there that a lot of people I know that are my age (i'm 23).

Keep on pumpin fella!

Totally agree. I'm that age and the stuff that I do surprises even the boys! I get filthy looks at boot camp. Wait till I'm actually helping set out the programs for my course, I think I will get on a burn list hehee

It is good to see the older population get into shape. My PT is 53, he got into shape about 4-5 years ago and became a PT

good work i had to scoll back up to the before picture
