i`m 40 on friday so if i can get to looking like chillen(plus hair) in 7 years i will be happy

Hey Marko, I hope I look like you and Chillen when I get old like you;)

Great job! But, don't you think you're already lower than 10%?

thanks g8r8o your comments are always welcome.

PB i`m currently on a 4 day upper - lower split.

but at the moment im renovating a house so the lifting is on a back burner at the moment(too tired)

cheers blackbeard............... ,on reflection 155-160 was a little adventurous(sp) but i did learn alot.
Carb cycling is a bitch at first but i believe iv`e got it down to a T now

Damn man your abs are fabulous! Love the low side ones that are so defined (is it the obliques?!). I always feel so dirty checking them out but I can't help myself :drooling1:

i tried to get down to 9-11% but there is always next year

Why next year?

Have you changed your goal plans? Do you want to be leaner than you are now? Or, do you want to add some mass and lean down.

What......are you happy with, Mark? Come to terms.

Is some of the carb-cycling difficulty getting to you? If you have carb-cycled, tell me how you (specifically) went about this.

When your BF drops (again), if you move to a bulking period, you will meet face to face the same or similar problems you have now. The monster doesn't leave, it just lays dormant, and it must be dealt with.

Leaning down under 10% is (IMO), one of the most difficult portion of one's goal placement (assuming this is the goal, and the individual is healthy, and playing ground equal). Why do you think there are so many people that want it, but do not attain it? Its because the last portion, can be a b---tch. Does the b--tch defeat the bastard? Or does the bastard defeat the b--tch?

When I was 152/154 pounds (dropping from 190-ish), I do not know how many people said I was skinny, and the abdominal core was rather sickening (my wife included), and quite frankly, I: DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN, I was sticking to the value of myself and will not abandon myself for the sake of an another opinion (using correct context here) and my fitness plans: Were/are personal.

If you are switching because YOU want to this is cool. If you are switching because of some type of exterior influence and abandoning yourself, I am going to bust your nuts.:violent::)

You have made extensive improvement, Mark. Why not go all the way, if THIS is what you want to do?

on reflection 155-160 was a little adventurous(sp) but i did learn alot. Carb cycling is a bitch at first but i believe iv`e got it down to a T now

What did you learn? Be specific. How did you get this down?

What sort of crap is that? A person can not discover new oceans, unless he has the courage to see the shore insight. If you become psychologically defeated, your body likewise becomes defeated. This was/is an attainable goal for you, Mark.

Good Progress, Mark........

Peace.....

LOL......

The reason I got rid of my "Comb-Over" and have less hair is because of this embarrassing situation:

I was riding in the passenger seat with the side window down with the Co-owner of 5 major hotels, and a burst of wind flipped the comb over completely vertical and it started flapping straight up in the air, and the person in the car next to us was laughing so historically she nearly got in an accident.

And, all the owner said was: "Could you flip that back down, please?"

So, I cut it off, and do not cover the balding top any more. :) My top doesn't flap like a bird anymore, lol.

Glad to see you posting Marko!

We rock you right where you belong baby!

Cheers to you, Chillen, for describing the combover incident. That took courage. Fortunately, at age 50, I have no hair loss and don't plan on any. My father died at 70 with a full, but grey, head.

My male pattern baldness, is hereditary. My Father who is (80) and still living, never cut his comb over through the years, and still doesn't though its only a few single hairs left, lol. On a side note, my Father is quite healthy at 80, never had a major surgeries or illnesses (other than the most common, like colds, and such), and is about 10 pounds over weight if I were to estimate.

Another funny situation, on interviewing for the job I have currently: Most of you know I lost my upper teeth arresting a suspect in a bar while I was a police officer (12 years, so I will not bore you with the details), and now I have permanent upper false teeth while the suspect got 16 years in prison. While I was interviewing for the position I currently have, I was sitting at a table with 5 interviewers facing me, and each were taking turns asking a series of questions. When I began answering the last question, my dentures slipped out of my mouth and fell on the table with a "plop!", and bounced forward a small fraction. The person to the right of me said, "Do you mind taking care of that?". I calming reached over and stuck them back in, and continued to answer the question.

I walked out thinking I had blown it simply by not putting in my denture cream that morning in a hurry. I got the job, and was told they liked how I responded in an embarrassing situation. :laughing2: :cheeky:

Every now and then, one of my employees will hang fake dentures on a plastic tree and put it on my desk.........:violent:, LOL.......I must train them better, lol.
