Help

Hi All!~

I am looking for advice on a a good workout. I am married with 4 kids and do not have a regular workout. I get alot of exercise having four young children, but am looking for something structured. I want to see results, but do not have hours a day to commit. I am thin but would like to tone up. I definately do not need to lose any weight, but would like opinions on dietary suppliments and a workout regimine. My 11 year old is on his schools wrestling team, and seems to turn to me for advice on training. I would like to help him stay in shape and find a workout schedule that he could follow as well. He is very into being in shape, and frankly looks like he works out already. People look at him and can't believe the muscle tone he has. So I would like something for both of us. Thanks so much in advance for all of your help!
Thanks!

charlimarno,
I am new too but sounds like we have similar needs. I have previously done Turbo Jam and I am restarting it now. The workouts are like 30 mins and they make you sweat and it's fun. They are from Beach Body. i have never been an athletic person but have always been thin. They take the time to teach you the elite 11 moves before throwing you into he workout. I think an 11 year old would be able to do it. Might be a good starting point to get in the habit of working out. Look forward to hearing about your journey.

working toward our goals

Thanks so much for the information. I will definately check into it. I know the new wrestling season will be here soon so I would like to get him started. He wants to join a gym with me, but his age is a problem. During wrestling season he trains after school everyday for 2 hours. In the off season, he does not know what to do.
I'm trying to set a goal for myself, but really feel I need to add some sort of suppliment to my diet. I want to tone, but fear I will lose weight. Its nice to know someone who is at a similar point. I was running 2 miles a day, but had some health issues and stopped. Got to get motivated.

I've been recommending hundredpushups.com and twohundredsquats.com as very simple workout programs that tone upper and lower body. Simple, structured, and short!

Good luck!

Thanks for the information. I am going to check it out. I do like the idea of working with weights, so I am trying to add that to my workout. I am really gaining alot of great info from the forums. I hope to make some serious progress by the middle of summer.

Thanks for the welcome Beaver!
