My routine, what do you think? Any suggestions?

Hello all,

Im new here and just wanted to get some advice. I'm a 22 year old male, I'm 5'8'' and weight about 205lbs. I am trying to slim down and tone up and i have been following this work our routine:

Monday:
30-45 mins of upper body weight training
45 mins on the elliptical around 6-7 mph

Tuesday:
45 mins on the elliptical around 6-7 mph
30 mins of abs

Wednesday:
Same as Monday

Thursday:
Same as Tuesday

Friday:
Same a Monday

Saturday:
Same as Tuesday.

I eat very healthy and eat about 6 small meals a day. How do you think this is? any recommendations? I am open to all suggestions, as I am not that great at making a routine but I found this was working for me. Thanks in advance.
 
Let's see what you are doing for upper body (exercise, reps, sets).

Let's see an example of your what you eat on a typical day.

PS- After a couple of weeks your body is going to get used to that eliptical machine so if you can switch it up and do 30 min of something else.
 
you need lower body weigth training, it releases more hormones when you work your larger muscles, elliptical is not going to cut it as lower body weigth training.
