hi everyone

hi im becky and im new on here. im 23 and had3 children im really serious about exercising and getting slimmer this year but not sure how to go about it. i exercise by jumping and jogging on the spot for about 20mins a day but dont seem to be getting anywhere. i cant seem to loose any weight either. im 12 stone 4 and cant loose any weight.
i dont like any salad so do any of you know any other food i can eat that is healthy?
i do eat about 3 bananas a day is that good?
where would i b going wrong? should i cycle? or run outside?what is the least i should be doing? i have big legs and a big tummy any ideas? hope someone can help me, thankx becky x
 
3 Banana's a day COULD be too much in the long run as you could end up suffering from potassium poisoning. 3 maybe ok, but id try limit them. Dont you like other fruits as well?

I think you should check out the stickys on weight loss etc.

Basically you want to be expending more calories than your consuming.

o rite ok, il cut down the bananas maybe to 1 a day but maybe have an apple or an orange i like most fruits.
how about exercise know how much i should be doing?
 
Welcome Becky. Yeah, see the stickies. In short, you need to burn more calories than you consume. Here are my suggestions:

1. Determine your basal metabolic rate. There are several online calculators for this.

2. Record what you eat, using or some other tracking utility and keep your intake 500 kcalories less than what you burn.

3. You can pick up the amount of cardio exercising you do, as your time permits. Running, cycling, are all good.

4. Incorporate weight training (see stickies). Using weights increases your metabolism for hours after the exercise is completed (versus cardio which increases it only during the exercise).
