I like the idea of "fasting" everynow and then (though I wouldn't do it myself) but doing this for 40 days? This guys is gonna start having failing organs if he keeps it up.

Wow, what a tool. He is doing all the "trick" to make it seem like he is dropping a lot of weight. Probably overate the first pictures and sucking in the tummy towards the end. The pictures are taken at a further and further angle, kid is getting a TAN, wearing darker clothes. Did you guys noticed that his HEAD is shrinking as well? I can get those results from going to a buffet and eat, eat, eat, and then take a picture while slouching.

Wow, what a tool!!!... Okay, IF someone is doing this for religious reason; that is another matter but to do this as a diet, did God skip you while handing out brains? Religious FASTING is cool and most do it for a "greater" purpose and understanding.
 
I think it's working for him. The man has got quite a willpower.

Its not working- thats just water weight- hes killing his metabolism and health.

If he had the "willpower" he would have gotten on a proven weight training and diet program to lose his weight. Hes obviously looking for a easy way out.
 
LoL, I hope he does a "NEW CONCLUSION" 4 months after the FAST. That is assuming that he is still ALIVE. Would be interesting to see how he looks comes June. Either in the grave or OBESE but there is a small chance that he remains skinny (probably will not be healthy).

I don't think it's cool, more like wake up to the 21st century. It's like seeing someone fast for 30 days because the book of mormonism or zues says so, nothing purposefull for elightening about that :p
 
I agree....he's being an idiot and it's unhealthy...but let's ask ourselves a question: how unhealthy is it for him to be overweight?

Like it or not, he's losing weight and his body is drawing largely on his fat storage to fund his caloric needs. Yes, he'll lose lean muscle and what-not...but I'm willing to bet, when he's done fasting, he can start eating right, do some exercise and he can put it back.

BUT...I think he could do it all at once with a solid diet and fitness routine. It must be quite miserable eating nothing and just drinking water...and he could run some serious risk of doing some damage of a permanent nature, but home-boy seems to have it all figured-out. :cool2:
 
From what I read on that website, home-skillet does not have it figured out. But hey, he might get enlightened from the whole experience and PERMANENT change is diet / excercise to something healthier to re-gain some muscle mass without too much fat. Personally, I doubt it but hey I've been wrong before.

The sad thing is he looks as horrible as he did before the diet, just smaller. :sad2: Like that matters..... so he's thinner, he's still pear shaped.......
 
Okay, so I thought I would look back at this guy's progress. From what I can tell, he is complete BULL****. So this guy said that he finished his diet weighing at 180 lbs and didn't gain ANYTHING BACK and claim to continue to lose weight even after he started eating.

From those of us who do carb depletion and Re-carb up cycling, how is this possible? Personally, I put on 3-5 lbs from carbing up after 30 hr period. Realistically, his weight should have gone up 1-2 lbs from eating again but NOO it did not; defies logic.

Notice all the photo trick that he does. Long hair vs short, closer picture vs further way, slouch vs standing straight up. I have a feeling that this dude is not inputing 100% honest data. Also he claimed to have lost 26 lbs over period of 20 days? Now 1 lb of fat = 3,500 calories. So unless he can run like no other while eating NOTHING, how can his BMR be 4550 at 207 to 181. Do the math guys, the numbers and logic does not work out properly unless he left a buffet when he started and took a huge dump for 20 days.

Morale of the story, datas can be manipulated.
 
Oh btw, he did not make it to 40 days as he claimed and stopped at 20 days... Shoot I went from 185 on 12/25 to 171 on 1/13; that is 14 lbs in 19 days while eating. On 12/25, I ate all day long and on 1/13 I was completely dyhydrated in the morning. Shoot, the food and water content of what I ate and crapped out alone was like 5 lbs and another 5 lbs of carbs/water retention. Go go data manipulation.
