tastiest fish?

Salmon is the overall favorite, as is mackerel (when having sushi or sashimi that is).

Gurnard, terakei, and who could miss out the mighty parot fish. They practically jump on my rod. By the way I hope all of you catch your own fish you lazy mofos!

I just had a big ole Tilapia filet, topped with spinach, onion, roasted red peppers, garlic, a little olive oil and seasoning cooked on the grill in a foil pack and it was the BOMB! :D

Come summer I eat a ton of Walleye and Perch. Good stuff there!

I don't think I have ever really had fish, other than fish sticks (which is not fish lol). What are some of the best fish to eat, health wise?

I've had shark actually, is that good for you?

Chicken and turkey everyday gets boring:(

grilled Salmon that you pulled out of the ocean 15min earlier yum
Fish is my favorite food, eat a lot of herring, salmon, pike, mackerrel..

Tilapia is yummy! Shark is good too.. Samon is my favorite sushi.. Munk fish is REALLY good. it is also known as the "poor man's lobster". that stuff is awesome!

Marlin,
strangely meaty textured fish, hhhmmm, tried it today for the first time, grilled of course....quite chewy.
Swordfish,
kind of tasteless not as chewy as marlin, nicer I think...
Salmon,
My favourite, non smoked, oven cooked, yum yum...
Tuna,
We all love tuna huh.
trout,
tastes to me just like salmon only more delicately flavoured...nice.
Red snapper,
Nice, loads of annoying bones to sieve out though,
Unusual texture and subtle taste, I liked it a lot, again, strange texture, nice...
Pilchards,
enjoyed tinned in tom' sauce, nice...
Sardines,
same as pilchards, nice...

Anyone know of any other not mentioned tasty fish I havent yet tasted?...

***

Try Tilapia and Orange Roughy. Very good. Mild flavor. You can cook and flavor any way you want.

Salmon and trout are way up there on my list of delious fish.
I also love fish eggs, and urchin roe, but I have a feeling they aren't the healthiest of foods. They taste pretty fatty so I'm assuming they are.

It is already mentioned, but I think Tilapia is the most economical frozen fish if you have to buy it. I live midland 8000+ ft. up in the Rockies, so fresh fish at the store is nonexistant here. I miss the fish & seafood from WA where I was born....I loved Pike Place Market & picking out whatever I wanted for such low prices (usually). I can't believe the cost of frozen fish in the supermarket here! It is outrageous.

I also enjoy Walleye when hubby fishes for it, but for me, I prefer the fresh trout hubby gets in the river a few blocks away because it tastes the best of anything!! (Still alive in the sink even)

The fresher you can get it the better, as far as tasty...
