Hi

I am new here and hoping to find some support and advice please.
I have taken the decision to do something about my weight and fitness and this time to do it permanantly.
I have been on so many diets I have lost count, they worked but I gained the pounds back plus extra.
So what is different this time?
I have decided to really work at this and stop messing around, I need to make lifestyle changes and that means doing it for good.
So here I am.
I am 54 years of age and weigh 11stone 12 pounds ( 155.68 pounds) and 5 feet 2 inches tall.
I now go to the gym twice a week and love it.
I have changed my diet as well and will need more advice and tips on how to keep it interesting.
I have a few health problems and have seen my Dr. who has given me the go ahead for all this as the exercise will help and the diet as well.
I have osteo-arthritis, high cholesterol and IBS
I am serious about this and hope that no one thinks I am too old for this board or that I am just messing around.
I have tried other boards but got no response so I am trying here. I will not give up as I really want to find a place were I can get some extra help in the form of support.
Thank you for reading my post.
