pullups or chinups?

Which would be better in a FBW routine: Pullups (overhand grip) or Chinups (underhand grip). I've read that pullups will isolate the lats a lot more and chinups will incorporate the biceps and some other muscles. At this point I really only have time to lift 2 days a week (I'm in law school and work part-time). The routine I'm working with is basically Squats, Clean & Press, Dumbbell Bench Press, and Pullups. I do this twice a week, 3 sets, 10 reps. I don't really expect to gain much only working out twice a week, I just don't want to lose any weight. Anyway, my thinking is that doing chinups may be the better choice because I'll be able to work more of my upper body than I would by doing pullups (although I will have to do more reps as chinups are easier).

Any thoughts?

I'd say pullups, or do them both. Pullups uses more back.

and don't do high reps for cleans, it's an explosive exercise, no more than 5 reps, prefferably 3 and below. Unless you are doing them for energy system work or something like that.

Why not do both, or even more variations? I typically do 2 sets of each, pullups, neutral grip pullups and chinups for the vertical pull part of my weekly routine.

You should be able to make some decent progress with only 40 minutes 4 times a week. No matter how busy you are you could certainly find that much time to workout. What other activities do you do that you could do without (television, hanging out with friends, etc.).

Thanks for the advice, changing my grip sounds like a good idea. Doing lower reps on the Clean & Press also sounds beneficial. Next semester I will have a better schedule to do 3, maybe 4 days a week. Right now, my schedule is all over the place, whenever I don't have class or work, I'm studying, writing a research paper, editing legal articles, etc... I know its not ideal, but I'm trying to do what I can for now.
