19, 5'8, 175lbs.male. want to drop

im 19 now. 20 in february. ever since i joined the airforce in 05 i've been gaining. well..it kinda all came in less than a year. i was 140 in september 2005. by february 2006 i was 150. right now im 175. i dont know what made me gain so quickly but it sucks. i got on the scale at one point at 185 dressed. now im 175 dressed. i finally realized i was eating badly. i'd go to work at 3 pm. come home at 11pm and eat. eat like two bowls of cerial. but i have noticed a difference in the past week and a half by just not eating as much. i dont think im starving myself but i do get hungry alot.

i want to come up with a meal plan to stick by. one that if im going to eat i already know what im going to consume. i dont know how though. is there like a 1 month meal plan out there i can stick to. 1 month so that you get variation. is it best to prepare it all at hte beginning of the week. crap..this is getting too long.

my point is i want to drop atleast like 15lbs. or get down to 10% body fat. no idea what im at now. i was 9% at 142 lbs. but getting that low again seems unattainable. plus im sure with a few more years i just got bigger instead of being kid small still. its not all fat. but i do have excess. i need a nutritious meal plan that i can stick to to help lose weight along with cardio. i dont have a clue what to eat or how. everything i eat comes in a box like hamburger helper and stuff like that. i know occasionally when i grill burgers that ill eat more than i should. but i cant turn down my macaroni and burgers. they're just too good. :drooling1: i dont eat veggies. well id otn want to keep talking. im sure it wont get read. but i need help. figured i'd try you guys. thanks

What do you know about basic nutrition? If you want to start tracking your calories, many people on the site use to see how many carbohydrates, proteins, and fats (and the calories therefrom).
