Hi All,
I know that many of you, myself included, believe that it is impossible (or near impossible) to spot reduce fat. It makes sense as isolation excercises merely work the muscles under the fat. However, I came across this bit of research after seeing this theory mentioned twice in two different but reputable fitness sites (Muscle & Fitness Mag and Bodybuilding.com). I think this research should be entertained and discussed as it has some merit and comes from an independent source (not a corporate sponsor looking for a reason to sell a product).
Take a minute to read the research (not a long article) and generate some discussion on whether you think this theory holds any water. Again, I think it's something to be entertained but not taken religiously.
Just trying to provoke some thought away from the norm so don't castrate me for trying to stir the pot
BTW - I tried posting this in the Articles section but the site started talking smack to me so I'm putting it here.
