Nubie

Hi everyone,

I thought I just posted a post, but for some reason it's MIA. I will just say that I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning more than I already have in the almost 7 years that I have been working out. :)

After viewing the threads here and elsewhere, I have noticed I'm not the only one who struggles to eat clean 100% of the time. However, I also know that if I want to get where I want to go, I have to just suck it up and do it. Having said that, I eat so much better than I used to and have even included Whey Protein powder to my post-workout routine. I think it, along with eating better, has helped me with my goals (to really tone up and lose some of the fat).

Basic stats are as follows:

Age: 32
Height: 5'3.5"
Weight: not sure exactly, but the last time I weighed in I was 129
Weight before starting to workout 7 yrs ago: 160
Weight I'd love to be: 115, but will settle for anything as long as I'm toned
Workouts: cardio (either running @4mi or doing 30 mins elliptical) 5x per week
strength: weights 2x per week

Beth:

With a deep Breath, Beth, will put to Death not eating Clean, and become the Queen in her Jean because she has become the Diet Machine!

One doesnt have to eat clean 100% of the time. However, the circumference of percentages are important in relation to the days and weeks these occupy.

What I mean is that if one eats clean 95% of the time (in appropriate logistics), and allows a calculated 5%, it is NOT POSSIBLE for this 5% to erase the 95% that is good. If this is correctly implemented. Being 100% spot on is not required, but one has to be fairly close to get the desired results.

I can be spot on 100% of time when I want, whenever I want. I know that everyone isnt this way. What one needs to do then is plan and organize and implement a correct weakness plan and a corresponding strength plan in accordance with the diet.

WELCOME!

and,

ROCK ON!!!!!

Chillen: that was some really good points you made. I actually happen to agree with you on that, but I do try to eat REALLY well ALMOST ALL the time. Well, I had a rough patch there for a couple weeks, but I'm back on track now and feel better than ever. :) Thanks for the welcome!
