Forearm Pain (Pronator Teres Syndrome or Kiloh-Nevin Syndrome)

Recently after i had done my workout of lifting weights i got a pain in my forearm. The next day i was unable to do my weights. I have been looking up about what i have done and think i have Pronator Teres Syndrome or Kiloh-Nevin Syndrome.
Can anyone tell me anything about these problems?
How long does it take to heal and what can i do to treat it?
Has anyone else had this problem in their arm?

The thing im most worried about is, as im not able to do my weights my muscles will reverse back and i will lose my strength. How long does it take for my muscles to reverse? I don't want to rush back and seriously damage my arm but i dont want to lose the last 4 months of what i've been doing.

why do you think its your pronator teres?

After about 2 weeks muscles start to reverse, and even then its gradually so theres no need to worry about losing all your effort, best to make sure it heals than something thats chronic. You can still do most of your exercises anyway, just limit the ones involving this particular muscle if it is indeed the one causing trouble.

If i stopped doing my weights for about a week or 2 but i continued doing my sit ups (i usually hold a weight while i do my sit ups but if i stop holding one to prevent hurting my arm). Would it be ok if i still did my sit ups as it isnt putting strain on my arm? Or do i have to stop doing all my exercises to let it repair?

Of course, you can even vary your sit outs to make it harder and make up for losing the wieghts. You should be able to do anything except where using the elbow and wrist joint. If your really worried about your injury perhaps see a qualified proff..

Would a injection for my forearm help solve my problem? I would still need to rest my arm but for about 2 weeks now the pain hasn't changed and it is starting to feel more and more uncomfortable.

Sounds like you might need to see a physio or something. An injection would help with the pain but you still wudnt do anything that would aggravate the arm further..
