Splitting exercises

Is it an ideal thing to split up your time of exercise throughout the day. Like you know how they say to do 3 blocks of 10-20 minutes each day so by the end of the day you add up your full 30-60 minutes.

Can this work for other things such as situps, pushups and other exercises that don't use weights? Like splitting up sets throughout the day for those who aren't motivated to do it all at once, or are there negative effects?

Its is possible but I dont think you would gain as much from splitting up the exercises. Remember that each time you start, you'll have to warm up and cool down at the end.

You need to know that there are 2 main types of training, cardio and resistance.
It doesnt matter if your not using weights, sit ups and pushups are still resistance training.

splitting up cardio works well...the body goes through fewer physiological changes during a cardio workout vs. strength training.

pro bodybuilders can manage two resistance workouts a day. the average person will just be destroying muscle and hurting joints.
