hmmm, have to say your looking well.

However the "toned" look that people look for is just having a good level of muscle as well as having a low body fat to see said muscle. So first off I would suggest is take up some resistance training i.e. weights. Now the one thing I would say about being a woman and doing weights is don't be afraid to lift heavy stuff. The lack of testorone in females generally make it extremly hard for them to get too big. Also if you are in a gym try and avoid machines and use free weights.

Other then that diet is probably your downfall, you generally don't eat enough, sorry but a full english shouldn't be teh bulk of a day's eating;) . But as you have said, in your diary, that you are back in college and are going to be eating 5-6 meals a day this should hopefully help overcome this problem. Other then that you will want to get plenty of protein into you. So plenty of lean meat, eggs (mix of whole eggs and egg whites) and nuts. also don't be afraid of good fats. So things like flax, extra virgin olive oil and fish oil should be in your diet. Anyway that is enough for now so good luck and hope it all goes wel for you

Girl, looks like you got the measurements already! :) Like jsb said, start pumping those irons up, eat more (and protein too - i also check your diary lol) I bet you gonna look toned & saxy in a short time!
Remember, you seem to have an active lifestyle already, adding more exercise to built muscle going to make you hungry. When it does, respond by eating. It won't make you fat. It will help you get fit fast. ^^b Good luck!

Is there much of a time difference between when the first and second photos were taken? I only ask because you look slightly more toned in the top photo.

Either way, you have a fantastic base to work from and, with a little willpower & hard work, will achieve your goals in no time.

yes the bottom photo was took at the end of july and the top photo was took around mid august...i should of told everyone that to start off with but i didnt see much of a difference.....i starting working out more and eating a little better at the start of august so i guess thats why i may look more toned...thanks for posting..

thanks alot mindi...i know im not overweight or anything but i just want some minor improvements made to make me feel alittle better about myself (if that makes sense! lol) thanks 4 postin...

I'll have to side with everyone above, you look great! That's not to say, however, that you can't look even better with a LITTLE work...good luck!

best thing you an do is run, and a lot of sit ups and push ups. Start off with say a 3-4 mile run, then once done immediately go into a half hour of sit ups. After dinner, is your half hour of push ups.

For best results train in sweats, you'll get used to exercising in heat, and tone quicker.

most importantly you need to tone your arms, stomach, slim the waist. Your legs ok, but running will tone your entire body.

Cut fat out of your diet as much as you can, and pay attention to nutritional content. No Saturated or trans fat. Alot of carbs during the daytime, and protein and carbs for dinner. Protein, Carbs and Fiber.

no offence, but this is all utter sh1te

Ok when running you should wear clothing that will help you maintain a good decent temperature, if you specifically wears things like a tracksuit to help increae your core temperature so you sweat more and so chances are you will dehydrate quicker and may cause you to stop your training early, however once you rehydrate yourself you any excess water weight you lost will come back.
Generally these sort of things are done by fighters/jockies who have to get down to a set weight for a certain day, but after weight in can increase their mass again.

Also in relation to fats I would generally tell people to increase you fat levels and drop carbs if you want to lsoe weight, yes trans fats should be avoided and to a certain extent saturated fats, but poly and mono fats should be part of everyone diet.

Also if you look at runner generally they have a toned look due to the fact that their BF% are so low, most of the muscle though that givest the toned look would generally come from some resistance training as opposed to just running

i think you look fabulous! can't give much advice-as i am kinda new to this myself- but just know you have a great head start!

One of the main benefits of training in sweats is that you get used to such a vigorous work out, You get used to not sucking down water by the gallon during a run. While running in sweats you rehydrate as your running, not too much to gain weight and get stomach cramps from too much water. Obviously carry a water bottle as your running.

I say no saturated or trans fat, nothing on poly or mono. With the increase fat/drop carbs thing, that maybe good for a moderate athlete who's not extensively working out several times a day, but the high fat/low carb diet will be hard for a serious athlete to train to.
