Hey everyone

ive just joined worldfitness so i thought i better introduce myself!

my name is Ellie, im 21 and im from north west england

im 5'4 and weigh 126 pounds (9 stone) and would like to get down to 8.4 stone (117) but my main focus is too keep healthy and remain a high level of fitness. i go to the gym twice a week and play football (soccer) twice a week so im always active but my downfall is binge eating and drinking!

i know im not over weight and is not essential for me to loose weight but i would be happier losing a few pounds!

i going to use this site to hopefully get advice from more experinced members and to share my interests in fitness and sport with others!

Ellie, welcome to the forum. Lot of motivation here from the members.

I'm not a Brit but I did live in Beds for four years back in the 70's and as I told one of your countrymen the other day, 'avoid the great British breakfast' and give the chipper a wide berth too. Britian is as bad as the US for producing weight gaining cuisine.

Keep the exercise up. The more you do and the more of a routine you make it, the easier it is to control weight. As I read in a book the other day; if you're constantly active, your body thinks it's Spring on the Savannah and it doesn't need to store fat.
