Now Cutting

12/27/06 Continued

Did training again. I maxed out on my bench again, I don't know why I keep maxing I just have a love for it or something and I know that isn't what I should be doing often

Bench- O and I got 155 up after 3 failed attempts at 160
Squat- 4x6 with 155 pounds, I definetely have to go lower I may have to lower weight for this... God my legs are so week
Military Press- 5x5 with 80 Pounds
Powercleans- 4x6 with 95 pounds (at least I got these back into my routine)
Chest-supported rows- 3x5 of 75 pounds (didn't get all the way up sometimes) supersetted with
Lat pulldowns- 1 set of 150x5 , 1 set of 130 x 5, 1 set of 120 x 5 (my back weakens really quickly)
Hanging Pull-ups- 2 sets (guy gave me good suggestions on these)
Hyperextensions- 1 set (weird I forgot to do my other sets?)

And I did a few calve, tibia isolations and some crunches. My post-workout was muscle milk, though I learned from Beradi that this wasn't the best thing for you but it was the only way to get any supplemention today. My diet depends alot on milk protein shakes and protein bars but I gotta lose some of that and get some real food like Chicken, Fish (I have been eatin Tuna though).

woa...I checked my weight this morning and I was 172.8 . I am dropping weight REALLY fast. I am probably undereating, my refrigerator has been almost empty for the past few days because my Mother is pissed off at us and she won't get groceries.
I basically have been living off Ham, Protein Bars, Yogurt, and tons of water the past 2 or 3 days. I'm assuming it has to be Fat and Water because I am still weightlifting and no numbers have gone down.
I'm probably heading towards "starvation mode" because I am guessing I'm eating around 1000-1500 calories. I also considered joining Wrestling because it will help my Core work, agility, speed and alot of people have said that Wrestling will make you a better Football player plus I would automatically be on Varsity because my school has a real small wrestling team and has to forfeit alot of there weight classes.

The End

My temporary cut is over, my waist-line is back to its old 34 inches. So here is what has happended to me lately..

165 Pounds- 34 inch waist
Bulking
182 Pounds- 37 inch waist
Cutting
l75 Pounds- 34 inch waist

Now this took alot of time, and I learned something today after reading the "Truth about Bulking". You can't force feed yourself and expect your body to produce all muscle, it won't work. Now if I read this article before I probably could have been 182 pounds and had a 34 inch waist but instead I had to waste time cutting back the fat I gained.

So my next goal? Is a long 8 month slow, clean bulk. This will put alot more Muscle and I will bigger and stronger then ever without the excess fat. And the fat I have now? I will be burning that off during August 100 degree 2-a-day training camps.

With the slow bulk I will expect to gain about 0.25-0.5 pounds a week and no more then 3 pounds per month. I will benefit so much from this....That article really changed my way of thinking.
