Chrons disease

I have an idea how you feel. I have ulcerative colitis and when i eat fruits or vegetables i get sick. So it makes it real hard to lose weight when all you can eat is protein an carbs. Even dairy products effect my stomach. I take a multi-vitamin to make up for it, but i have a hard time losing fat but no problem gaining muscles. I do cardio 4 times a week and light weight training 3 times a week. If you have any advice for me i would love to hear it.

Yes because the diarrhea is depleting you of necessary nutrients and electrolytes. I would consult a nutritionist to see that you're getting what you need as a baseline, in addition to any supplements you might take to increase muscle mass. Good luck!

I developed ulcerative colitis in 1983 but I underwent a surgical cure in 1990 which involved creating an internal pouch out of my small intestine and removing my colon, it was called the J-pouch surgery and performed at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale. I have been unable to absorb vitamins and minerals properly since the surgery until now when I recently found a liquid multivitamin called Live The Source which has a 90%+ absorption. It is made with all natural nanotechnology.
