C CScheiner 0 Nov 6, 2006 #2 Well, the two key lifting exercises for the Gluteus Maximus is the Deadlift and the Squat. Lunges work the quads more then the glutes. Squats are generally a full leg exercise so I just added it in there, but a Deadlifts target is the glutes.
