5'-11"
175lbs
16-17% BF

Does anyone know just how acurate the BF is off of a $60 scale?

I have a thread in the weight lifting section that says a little bit about me and what my w/o schedule is like. To make a long story short, I was the kid that could eat anything and not gain a pound, until the last 2 1/2 years since I stopped smoking. Now I can finally gain weight, however since I have not w/o in the last 5 years until about 2 weeks ago, I am getting fat.

I have a gut for the first time in my life, and I am going to do something about it. I was wondering if anyone can look at my pics and tell me where I should concentrate my efforts, (again my w/o schedule is in the weight lifting forum)

Also, criticism is greatly appreciated, telling me that I am fat will give me more motivation! Bring it!

Thanks

definately a good base to work from, once you cut up, you will look crazy ripped.

Oh... and you are fat (just for motivation, not really)

Fatty! haha

Seriously a nice cut would be perfect. Reduce your calories about 300 and combine cardio/weights for a nice slow cut. At your height you could use extra pounds so dont try to drop to much weight, but primarily bf.

I am reducing my calories, and I do about a 10 min run and 10 min bike after 75% of my workouts (m,tu,th,fr) I know its not ideal but I work out at the school gym, it takes me an hour to get to school, so I have to do cardio right after weight training, and its really hard to drive 2 hrs to get to the gym and back on my off days so I can't really do that.

Is this ok, any advice?

Dont forget the vast amount of space you have outside. If your cardiovascular levels are relatively good, you can give HIIT training a try.

HIIT is great. Its a very effective fat burning tool and efficient time-wise. I dont suggest doing it immediately after weight training. It could put you in a catabolic state.

The seals symbol is sweet, if i remember correctly its an eagle with a triton (don't think i spelled that right, but it resembles a pitch fork). I knew a couple of them, really tough guys, although they don't resemble what most people probably think a seal looks like.

Think; efficient body, not powerhouse.
Less like Arnold, more like Armstrong.
