Im hitting my weight loss again.

Summer was fun. I had no worrys and now i need to get in shape again. I didnt want to workout this summer. i wanted to enjoy it so i did and ate what i wanted with no regrets. So i gained 15 pounds in 3 months which i think its not entirely bad, so now i want to lose weight to go down to like 155 and then build muscle from there. So should i do lots of cardio and a clean diet? Should i include weight training? Thanks. i used to weigh 160 and now its like 172-175.

Thanks

i say throw the weight routine in there as well. Its more variety than just straight cardio and it helps raise your overall metabolism.

Should weight lifting be light like say push ups instead of bench pressing and regular squats without the bar? or should i include weights?

it all depends on your preference. weighted workouts are usually easier, but if you dont have any available, there are plenty of exercises that only involve body weight

Ok my goal is too go down to like 155. I just want to cut fat off. Then once i reach that goal i'll start to build muscle onto my frame. So are weights really necessary?
