How will my body respond to...

Im on a calorie and carb deficient diet (about 1500 calories a day) and I do very intense kickboxing training 3 times a week. I eat enough and enough that I don't get hugner pangs.

Here what Im thinking:
Since the body would still have carbs but not as much as you normally have. It would probably go and burn the muscles up for energy to keep up with the intense workouts right?

Well what if you were to eat plenty of protein each day (1g for each lb)? What would your body be burning then? It should be all fat right?

Should I force myself to eat even though Im not hungry?

The kickboxing training is for 1 hour per session and burns about 800 calories

the best way would be to go back to your maintence caloreis level which is the amout of cals you can have without losing or gaining any wt at all...from there have a macronutrient ratio of 20% carbs, 40% protein and 40% fat...as fat loss stalls, decrease carn cals a little and replace with fat cals (not grams!!!)...as fat loss stalls again then i would drop cals a little to below maintanence like you are now and see what happens...cyccles like this are probably best done in blocks so when you stall, maintain that for 1 week then start next phase...make sense?

Well, you may burn some fat but maybe also some muscle. We need carbs, protein and fat. There is a reason why each is part of our diet. For losing weight it's a better idea to make small decreases in overall calories, have an intense exercise regime, drink lots of water and rest. Focusing on eating clean foods and lots of low glycemic carbs helps as well. Drastically cutting one group of food, such as carbs, is just not the best idea. You'll be low on energy. Besides that, those carbs are so critical for countless body functions.

Stats would be helpful :) 1g of protein per pound of lean muscle is a general rule of thumb. Personally I don't get all technical with calories. I simply eat unprocessed foods as much as possible. Each meal is a carb/protein meal and it's spaced out ever 2-3 hours.

I do recognize some people love counting calories and all that. That's cool. We need to know your stats and more detail regarding your goals, sample daily menu (what and when) and if the kick boxing is the only workout you do for the week.
