5x5 question

in the 5x5 program i dont understand how you know how much to lift for each set. I can see that you start out with a low weight on set one then raise it for set two but i dont see a trend...this is an example from a site

135 for 5, 185 for 5, 225 for 3, 275 for 2, 315 for 1, then 350 for 5 sets of 5.

i dont get why he starts with 135 then goes gradually up to 350...

Could be that the first 5 sets are just the warm up sets. The last five, the 350 5 sets of 5 reps would be the working sets. Is there a link somewhere so we can see it?

5x5 is a good one.. theone i used, bill starrs you take the weight you do 5 reps max on, lets say its 100 kg that would be the 5th set. then you subtract 10-15% of that, and that will be the 4th set, subtract again from that, and you have the 3 set. Called ramping weight or something.
