biking

well my gym is at a fair distance away from my house and no one will drive me,so i always bike there and back. It takes a good 20 minute bike and i always get a good cardio workout from it along with some leg workout as well.
By the time i get to the gym and lock up my bike i'm sweating like a pig and i'm pumped up to workout. So i go in and get changed to hit the gym and do my routine.

Is this good thing? Plus i don do any cardio because i bike there and back, which is actually 40 minutes of biking in total. Do u think i should still go out and run?? I workout weekdays. mon-fri. rest on sat and swimming on sunday.

you sound like me hah. I used to do that till i got my own car ^^
yeh. u dont have to do any cardio when u head to the gym because you already did it :] but eventually your body will get used to the cardio ur doing on the bicycle and u wont burn as much calories, thus u might want to try swimming or something.

yes. its a good thing. when ur biking back and forth, ur warming up your body for the later activities.

yeh running is very good, try HIIT, where you do intervals. u walk/jog for 2 minutes, den sprint as fast as you can for like 3 minutes. :] best you can run.

Hmmm I was about to ask that exact same question.... I thought it might lead to over training, so I kind of worried about it.

how would biking be overtraining? its another form of cardio. cept it works more of your lower body, not directly but strengthens ur calves/hamstrings a bit. well from my experience. my legs are like solid lol. all those years of biking. i should try out for the tour'de france. ****k lol :D ;)

biking is great, but i prefer running now because biking got 2 ez. but HIIT on bikes are nice
