Bowflex and soreness

Hey guys, long time lurker here.

Anyway I have a question. I had been going to the gym during the school year, and now during the summer, I am switching over to my bowflex (for a number of reasons). Anyway, long story short, I get a really good pump and a good workout from my bowflex, but the next day, I am, if anything a little tight in my arms, and slightly sore in my lats and pecs. I have been working 6 days a week (Phillips Body for Life syle) for about 4-5 months now. My diet is six meals, of a lean protein and a high fiber carb, with a couple having veggies in there too. I am taking in about 150g of protein and about 2000-2500 cals. Am I to the point where either a bowflex won't give me results that I want or am I to the point with my lifting that my muscles don't nessecarily get sore? I have tried changing things up (as much as I can on a bowflex), and like I said, after my workout, I am tired, and have a good pump. My workouts are as hard or harder than when I first started (and got somewhat sore the days after). I know not everyone gets sore, it just goes against every instinct and all the knowledge I have of muscle development.

I'd get back into free weights. Working out on the bowflex only is like doing nothing but machines.

Why have you switched to just bowflex?

They are in the process of renovating the college rec center near where I live, and its a total mess. I thought I would dust off my old bowflex while its being renovated. I used to get really sore from it. Guess my body isn't responding to it like it used to. I have a barbell and dumbells, just they're a pain to always adjust. Maybe this is my opportunity to talk my wife into letting me get some bowflex quick change dumbells.

Agreed. They are pretty awesome though. Odds are I will get a pair when weider come out with a knock off for a third of the price.
