Get Sexy Legs...

Interesting..
Its too bad that there is absolutely no mention of diet. I can see it now. Thousands of women killing themselves with these exercises then sitting down to a nice big bowl of pasta with ragu and groud beef.. Wondering why their sexy legs are hiding under the rest of their legs.

Exercises are nice though.

I agree niceone ... diet is the key. Those exercises are beneficial though. Combine the two and I'm sure youi'll see results. So Lifes_a_Beach, when you achieve your sexy looking legs, we want pics :D

Hmm, cellulite is nothing more than an excess of body fat. So this article misses the point on nutrition, hydration, rest and cardio. It also misses the entire point of a full body strength training program.

I'm certainly not trying to play devil's advocate or be a pain in the you know what. I just hate articles like this that make it seem as though we just need to do a few exercises and poof ~~~~ cellulite gone.

you are all right about how it isn't that easy to get "sexy legs"...I think a lot of magazines make it seem that way...speaking of cellulite would you say the best thing is to just to watch diet and continue to develop leg muscles?

Interestingly, the article mentioned a move from the PUSH program that I am signed up for...it was the swing lunge...

To get rid of cellulite... is the same process as getting rid of stored fat. Eat well and often, vary the cardio, lift correctly, drink enough water and rest properly.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I expected. Do you know if any of those high end cremes that you are supposed to rub into your skin help to alleviate any of the cellulite appearance? I know it can't get rid of it.

I've wondered too Life, but if it was true, I think we'd all be walking around cellulite free :D

Reminds me of when our receptionis asked me how I lost my baby weight, I took the time to write down (by hand) the types of foods I ate and the excersises she could do at home...about a week later she was complaining again as she ate her breakfast: Chocolate chip cookies!

It's not easy that's for sure lol

omg, I know , I am surrounded by women here at work who constantly complain about their appearance...ask me how I am so 'skinny' for having two kids...and then I take the time to explain all this crap and what I ate and didn't eat and what exercises I did and how often adn the strength training, etc. and they looked at me with a face like they were listening and only to find them in the break room during lunch eating an entire styrofoam 'meal' of KFC with a Coca Cola. Then later on eat someone else's leftovers . Or to see everyone shovel birthday cake into their mouths every month for the people's birthday celebration day.

One day they had this choc. cake I swear looked like a heart attack on a platter....it was so chocked full of sugar and oil and fat I could see it oozing out of the pores of the cake itself!!! I RAN AWAY !!!!

while they all were asking .. 'Don't you want some of this cake? Its SOOgood !!!"

yeah, thanks but no thanks ;)

Good topic... you either want it or you don't. Unfortunatley I think so many people want it... but don't want to work for it. And that's their choice and I respect it... but don't waste our time by having us explain it all and give guidance only to throw up their hands and say "Forgettaboutit!" :D

Great post Smax. Even though I am now a trainer and nutritionist... I used to be unhealthy. I smoked a pack a day, I never worked out, I was stressed, etc. Obviously I changed my lifestyle and gave up smoking.

Now the thought of smoking almost makes me gag. Same with sugary foods. A lot of things are "too sweet" for me :)
