During pics

Ok, these are some 'during' pics as I didn't have the bottle (or the USB cable) to post any before pics - taken about a week ago. You'll just have to take my word for the progress I've made. lol

First time I've ever seen my own back.

lol, no way - I've had those jogging pants for as long as I can remember!! I think the flash on the camera was a bit bright - I'll see if I can figure out how to use it properly when I post my progress pics...
 
Current weight (well, last Saturday) 161lbs. I'm actually dropping BF% atm so, haven't got a goal weight as such. I suspect my weight will begin to rise now as I build muscle. I began 9 weeks ago at 22% BF. I'm currenty around 17% and my goal is to reach 10% so, the hardest work is ahead of me!!

I've been wondering how accurate my gym's caliper readings for bodyfat are. I get checked every 2 weeks and it says that I'm currently at 13%, but I have much more fat weight than you seem to have in your picture with 17%. How often do you get your bodyfat checked?
 
once you start working out and putting on muscle you can no longer use the online calculators to work out your fat % with weight and hight etc.

Chris - good start man. I think it may help you to start a really heavy bulking phase, you have a good base. you wanna work on getting your Fat % down when you got something amazing that you wanna show off.
Bulk up seriously for just 4-6months and you'd look amazing.

It seems like a long way ahead, but you can get your fat% down now, maybe pack on some more muscle and get a bit thiner and biger. Or... you can step up to the next challenge.

A year from now you could be a little better than you are now, or you could be huge and cut!!!!!

thecomplex - my gym uses BIA (bioelectrical impedence analysis) rather than calipers to test BF% so, I have to assume that it is reasonably accurate. They make you lay on the floor and attach nodes to your hand and foot. I also have some BMI scales at home - I dont think they are very accurate but, I only use them to ensure that my BF% is going down rather than up. AT the gym, I get tested once a month.

manofkent - lol, I do know where you're coming from and, after the summer, that is exactly what I intend to do. For now though, I'm ashamed to admit that I'm driven by vanity and I want to cut for the summer. So, instead of a year, I'll aim for cut & huge in a year and a half ;)

Scottish RSPAC. the black and white is suppose to represent DALMATIANS(i believe), not CATTLE. i have another pink one for Breast cancer, i got the Lance armstrong one for a friend who is particiating in a car rally. ;)

I have never been a patient man so, rather than waiting to reach my goals before posting some more pictures, I figured I'd throw some more 'during' pics into the mix to see what you guys think. I've tried to keep similar poses so that progress can be seen. I'm a little disapointed that my ab definition isn't obvious in the pics but, I think the flash is a bit strong (I am no photographer!! lol)
