An italian style bread pizza that can be an appetizer
Ingredients
- For Dough/bread:
 - 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
 - 1 cup warm water
 - 1 teaspoon sugar
 - 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
 - For Topping:
 - 1/3 cup fat-free Italian style salad dressing
 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
 - 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
 - Dash fresh ground black pepper
 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
Instruction
- Dissolve yeast with 1/4 cup warm water in a bowl. Add sugar; stand for 5 minutes. Add the oil, salt, remaining water and 2 cups of flour; beat until smooth. While stirring add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough., knead about 6 to 8 minutes or until it became smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 40 minutes in a warm place until the size doubled.
 - Then, pat the dough flat, rest again for 5 minutes. Press into a greased 14-in. pizza pan. Spread with salad dressing. Sprinkle the garlic powder, oregano, thyme and pepper over the dough. Top with cheeses. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
