This green perennial plant originates from Southern Europe, and has many different uses.
Its leaves, seeds, and fruit, are all used to flavor food, particularly South Eastern Cuisines. Its root contains a heavy oil that which is used as a mild aquaretic. It is often named the magic bullet, because it is known to protect all plants from pests, and improve the health of plants.
Lovage tea can be applied to wounds and used as an antiseptic, or ingested to stimulate digestion.
