Side Stretch (Advanced)


This is a great stretching exercise for the obliques.



Start by standing straight with your legs shoulder width apart.


Join your arms above your head so that you are holding your elbows on either side. Your elbows should be straight up and chest out. Make sure not to strain your back by bending too far.


Bend towards one side keeping your back straight at all times. Hold for 3-5 seconds, return to center, and repeat on other side.
