Shoulder Girdle Mobilisation

Description:

This is a great exercise for the shoulder girdle, especially the serratus anterior.

Instructions:

Lie down on a mat with your knees bent and your arms reaching toward the ceiling.

Exhale and slide the right arm toward the ceiling so that your right shoulder blade lifts slightly off the floor. Inhale and return to the start position.

Exhale and slide the left arm toward the ceiling so that your left shoulder blade lifts slightly off the floor. Inhale and return to the start position. Repeat 4-6 times on each arm, rest, then repeat the exercise if desired.
