Back Muscles


This is a great exercise for strengthening postural muscles.



Lie face-down on an exercise mat with your arms in a "U" position.


Exhale and lift your head and shoulders a few inches off of the floor. Simultaneously, squeeze your shoulder blades together and pull them down. Inhale and slowly lower your head and shoulders back to the floor. Repeat 8-12 times, rest, then repeat the entire exercise if desired.
