Workout every day or every other day?

Hi there -

I appreciate any help.

With that being said, I've worked out every day since Oct. 12th and was planning on going like that until Jan. 1.

However, I've noticed that I haven't been losing as fast as I have lost weight in the past (which I'm not overly concerned with that, becuase I fully believe the faster you lose it, the faster you'll gain it back). That being said, I'm doing cardio/swimming/full court basketball/light weights/squats pretty much every day.

I'm only drinking water and vitamin water, I don't drink/smoke. I've kept my calories pretty clean and around 2500.

Do you think I would get a better "bang" for my buck if I started to go every other day? Some days I don't feel like I go as hard because I'm just so tired, but keep pushing anyways. I'm not trying to "muscle" up, just wanting to lose weight.

Thanks again for any opinions.

You should probably try mixing up your workouts so that your not doing the same thing day in and day out. Try having weights days and cardio days. Have a day off every so often as well.

I'm sorry - I should of been more clear. I'm doing those activities, but mixing them up every other day, not doing weights 2 days in a row.
