Woman who actually builds muscle EXTREMELY quickly.

I know every workout program says to incorporate weight lifting. Also, I've noticed that nearly everywhere people say, "woman don't build muscle like men do," but I will tell you that I build muscle easily and quickly. For example, my calves and biceps are pretty well developed and I NEVER work them out. I build muscle in these areas simply by walking or working out other muscle areas.

So my question is, anyone else like this? Anyone had any success in losing fat and building just the right amount of muscle?

I've basically stopped weight lifting and am focusing solely on cardio to get the fat off. I hope that once that happens, my nice muscles will be visible.
 
You shouldn't be able to build muscle for long while losing weight. If you do, it couldn't be all that much. Your muscles will be more defined as you lose so it might appear as if you gained more than you did.
 
I have no idea how anyone would build their bicep by walking. :D Perhaps you are losing fat and therefore your muscle seems bigger?
 
hey steph... i DO have a similar issue... not that my biceps and all are very well developed or anything, but i HAVE noticed that my arms get a nice cut within TWO DAYS of weight training... my triceps suck though, theyre horribly flabby.
so i don't know if we're on the same boat or not... but i was a little amazed to see my biceps stand out(comparitively) the day after i joined the gym?!?!?!
