What and When To Record on Fitness Tracker

I use a Polar M400 fitness tracker during both aerobic and weight training. I work out a home, with dumbbells and a treadmill.

My question is: During weight training, should I record only just the actual physical routines, or also include the minutes spent resting between routines?
Also, should I record my stretching, warm-ups and cool-downs for each session?
