Weightloss? Exercise?

Hello, I see everyone talking about Weightloss and I would like to start an Exercise Topic.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR EXERCISE?

Well This Bike Challenged is over and I did not make the goal that I set for my self. Now I could look at this as a NEGITIVE but I wont, I will Look at it as a POSITIVE !. I did something for myself that did my body GOOD and If I had not tried, I could have said I FAILED !. But I DID NOT FAIL I WON!!.
I Made it 19 Miles of the 29 Mile goal I set for myself, Then I had to call my wife ( Ms. Kim ) to come and get me, my legs could not take anymore THIS TIME.
Next time I will be stronger and the time after that even more stronger! Get it? You only FAIL when you Quit ( or dont try )!!

A Newer Bike For HAWGDADDY

TREK ! My New Bike

I bought a Trek Anelope 850 from a buddy of mine and took my first ride tonight and stopped at the bike shop for a safety inspection in which it did pass. I they took a quick 6 mile ride and man is that bike fasssssssssssssssst.

Great work with the riding and the new bike

I have been hitting the Gym hard for my exercise (exact workouts in my diary)
 
My exercise is always about cardio. I like running and walking, but I don't like to riding a bike. However, this constant workout can keep my weight safe for a long time
 
I have been doing some light jogging and swimming on alternate days. Working well for me. And of course with the help of supplements. Nothing is impossible when we really try.
 
Right now I'm doing about 45 min to an hour of weight lifting 3 times a week and then I come in on saturday or sunday and run a mile of intervals on the treadmill.

I'm aiming for a slow fat loss so that I can retain muscle and it's working out very well for me.

What's everyone up to? What exercises are you doing? Share! Share! Share!

Currently, my goal is to reduce my body fat ratio (by "force fitting" my body into BMI Normal range). After my short term goal is completed (before mid March ???), I'll be doing more muscle build exercise and less cardio increase / calories burn exercises. For now, "burn away" to drop my body's bottom end of 3.5 lbs of blubber (especially around my tummy area).

Note: As a suggestion, do create a daily exercise log (diary) for yourself as well. One can then "plan their daily tasks", mark each task "completed" and reflect back on each day. Thus, deciding if different muscle groups need more focus on perhaps other daily "tweaking" areas are needed instead (for your wants).

Lose Weight

Losing weight has almost become a challenge to everyone.The problem is that most people who go on diets actually plan to fail.

If you really want to lose weight,you should go with these tips:

What to Eat :
Do not eat between meals, EVER, especially after 6:00 pm. If you absolutely must eat something, nibble on a piece of raw fruit or a couple of raw vegetables. Drink lots and lots of water. Water forces your body to run more efficiently, flushes harmful toxins out of your body, speeds up metabolism, and makes it easier to lose weight and burn fat.

Exercise :

Exercise is one of the best tips to lose your weight.Try to exercise 20 minutes. Aerobic exercises have the greatest fat-burning potential. If you diet without participating in any exercise, your weight loss will be much slower.

Im not buying that AT ALL! All starving yourself between meals does is make you pig out when you do eat a meal. I find it MUCH more helpfull to take a small snack inbetween when Im hungry. Makes me eat a LOT less come dinner time!!!
 
Eat 5/6 Mini Meals

What do you consider eating between meals? I eat 5/6 times aday and have success coming out my ears and several GYM friends are doing the same and seeing results..... Our bodies need fuel without being jam packed with food... by eating several mini meals aday it keeps our bodies in gear and burning calories....

Might I add to what you said and offer abit of change.... You said
When Im Hungry
I have found when someone plans their day (Meals) including their snacks they DONT get hungry... for example... I eat at 7am - 10 am - Noon - 3pm - 6pm and 3 spoons of low fat cottage cheese before bed.... this keeps the body from feeling or getting hungry and keeps your engine running in full force which is burning calories ALL DAY LONG! Also people say drink 8 - 8oz glasses of water aday! well, I workout DAILY and drink water all day long and then atleast 3 - 20oz bottles while in the gym..... When am done the entire GYM see's all the water Ii have drank! Yep am soaked! head to toe's! not one dry piece of clothing! not one!

People the true Key Is Diet and Exercise 5/6 Mini meals per day and SUCK the Water Baby! If anyone here uses UTUBE you can look me up there my nic their is WSG1. I just started Video Blogging and looking for idea's and questions to include in my Video's.... remember I am new at Video Blogs

Kick it up this week in the GYM and Try the 5/6 Mini Meals!
Stay away from Sugars, Packaged Foods and eat up on Chicken, Fish and Steam your FRESH veggies and See the results......This is not hard!

First off you are all Great! I want you know know my secret for success.... I dont want anything to do with weightloss Pills or drugs....

my secret has been..... Talking to others and and supporting others in their journey's.... you might think how has that helped your success hawgdaddy?
Well, It keeps me in the moment... In the thought.... trains my mind.... I do it day in and day out some where on the web.... Then when it's my GYM time am so motivated that i KICK MY A$$ in the gym and reap the benefits of helping others.... you are the first I am sharing this with..... My secret is out....

I've been running & brisk walking for 40-60 minutes usually every other day, it adds up to around 4 miles a day in the end. Used to be every day but have been strapped for time lately.
I don't usually get hungry between meals, both because I drink water/tea like a whale and I've been eating three meals a day now for a year or two so my body is used to it..but do you guys/girls find it better to run before dinner or after dinner?
 
I feel after..... I snack pre workout on 15 raw almonds for the protein and 99% of the time I do an ISSOPURE Protein drink post workout.... High Protein! Low Carb!
Taste awesome.....

I do the 5/6 mini meals because.... I lose more weight by feeding my body healthy food and keep my engine running and burning calories.... We can talk more on this anytime...

not a proble brother.... I work 12 hours aday at 1 job and spend alot of evening time in the gym and I carry a Blackberry that all my emails go to.... I answer emails during breaks and Lunch and off and on in the Gym..... I am here to make friends and progress while working with others........
