Weight gainer or Mass gainer?

Hi all. Im new here and just started working out recently. I want to take some supplements for my workout and would like to know what's the difference between a weight gainer and a mass gainer and which one I should take. Can I take both of them together? Thanks

What are your goals? do you want to add a lot of muscle or just a little? what do you weigh / age / height etc....

I am quite skinny and want to bulk up and put on some muscles at the same time. I workout 5x a week. I am 20 years old , weigh 140 lbs and ~175cm in height. My diet consists of about 3 meals a day but I do tend to try and eat as much as I can in between.

they are really pretty much the same thing. most of these products are whey protein and maltodextrin which is not the best you could do. they consider maltodextrin a complex carb but the truth is

Technically, maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate. However, maltodextrin has a very high glycemic index, which means that it raises blood sugar levels very quickly. Because maltodextrin isn't classed as a simple sugar, products can claim to be a "low sugar" meal. Technically, this is true. But when you consider the effect that maltodextrin has on blood sugar levels, the "low sugar" claim has little relevance.

taking the time to slowly up your meals to 5 or 6 a day will be much better for you. also you could do your own weight gainers using milk, protein powder and other ingredients to boost calories. :)

Ok thanks for the advice. It's a little difficult to make my own weight gainer so Im actually now using Horley's Weight Gainer. Just have to wait and see for any results.
