my goal for this challenge is 10 pounds so I would like to be at 173 by the end!!! we can do this.

I'm getting ready to go to the gym to do my cardio. Let's make this week's goal to do minimum of 30 minutes of cardio 5 days this week. It could just be walking, but do SOMETHING. Next week we'll work on something else.
Great workout today, but I am sooooo sore. I ran/walked yesterday, so today I'm feeling awefully sore, but I know it'll be worth it in the end. I actually didn't want to work out at all, but I MADE myself, so I guess I'm progressing.
60 minutes on the precor=600 calories burned.
How's everyone else doing? You get in at least 30 of cardio today? How was nutrition? It's still early here, not even noon yet, so there's no point in me talking about nutrition for the day yet. Stick with it everyone, I'm watching you
Great idea Doxie! I have to do 30 min. of activity everyday for the Halloween challenge, so this is good. I went for a walk with my sis this afternoon, about 40 min. I think. And I'm going to do a half hour aerobic video tonight! I'm determined to get 10 lbs off this month!
I didnt do very well today, I have a hard time making myself do things unless I have someone checking up on me to make me feel like I'm not doing what I'm suppose to. I'll make a better effort tomorrow!

I was okay so far today, still feelin guilty about yesterday(see my diary)..
Sorry if i don't post with the normal flow of posts from east coasters and west coasters. My husband is stationed in Hawaii, so when it's 6pm east coast time, it's noon here.... or a better example, when it's noon on east coast it's 6 am here. so when I get up for the day, most people half there day is done
That being said, how's everyone doing?! Get 30 minutes of cardio in today? I hope so, we need to amp it up so we can win this challenge!!!
I'm doing about 60 minutes of cardio a day, and eating roughly1300-1500 calories. What's everyone else doing?

so do we have any guidlines in this challenge or just touching base everyday? give me the low down here so I know what I can and cant do. also what if anything I need to focus on doing. thanks ladies!!
I don't know about guidelines...maybe we're just here to offer specific support to each other?
I gave in to a chocolate craving...not bad though. I did so good with food today, that I came up a little short on calories. So after my walk, I stopped in to visit my mom and grandma, and snuck a chocolate chip cookie. Homemade today. YUMMY!!! Totally worth it
way to go jellykat and dari! Good job on the resisting and the good nutrition. I was pretty good myself. About 1500 for calories and burned 600 through cardio today.
As for guidelines... I started the challenge because I wanted the support... mainly the pat-on-the-back kind , but hey, as hard as we're working, we all deserve a pat on the back.
I thought our group could do mini-challenges to help us possibly win... i.e. this week I thought we should all work for 30 minutes of cardio 5 days this week. we can keep that up and next week add something like drink 80 oz of water or something. It's really up to y'all.
I wouldn't worry about people not responding everyday, as long as everyone checks in once or twice a week (considering our busy schedules) that's pretty good in my book. I, however, will try to respond at least once a day to say good job and keep workin' hard!
I think mini-challenges are an excellent idea! I am moving this weekend so I will be active for a few days without even trying! I will focus on keeping an eye on caloric intake too. way to go so far ladies, I'm pumped for this challenge.
