SuP!!!

Hello there :D

Well I just felt like doing a one-handed pushup, and attempted to put it into practise but failed.

Realising that I haven't got any forums for this type of thing bookmarked, I promptly googled for one, and this one looks pretty good except for the survey up the top lol.

Soo, I'm 17 (turning 18 in July), from Australia, NSW, Rural town called Armidale.
I'm quite into fitness and weight training, I have a programme which I follow very well, yet I still can't do those blasted one hand pushups lol.

I am pretty fit, and my BMI is 18.5 (though I'm taking it down to 18 next holidays....not that I think much of this specific measurement), I'm 183cm/62kgms or 6 ft / 136 pounds in the old system.

I do a range of weights exercises & ab exercises every Mon, Wed, Fri, Walk to school & back (1 hour total per day, I also walk very quickly) and ride by bike a lot on weekends and at every available opportunity, except I bent one of the big cogs on my bike somehow, and so I can't use by bike for the time being which is a real shame....

My overall goal is to be extremely fit, fat<10% body weight, very strong, ready for anything. I don't like how most people in the developed world are fat and eat junkfood, in fact I never in my life eat takeaway (eat a pizza every few months maybe, only because it tastes so good), everyone in my family (including me) knows how to cook very well, well I'm getting there, obviously I'm not as skilled as my mum...yet.

But in general, I'm a very paranoid person, I know a lot about world geopolitics, and I have a constant feeling there will be some kind of a horrible development which will result a breakdown in society, hence I need to be ready for it.
But of course my goals have many uses in everyday life as well.

You'll be seeing a lot of me..hopefully, though I'm in year 12 and do 4u maths, which takes a lot of time.

Hi.

wow only 136 pounds at 6ft, I'd try to bulk up a bit. Welcome !

Awesome. Training for the inevitable collapse of modern society. You just won my instant and permanent respect. Welcome. ^_^

Well, if that isn't a good reason to train, what is? Welcome to the forum! I hope you have many years of training before your big event!
