I just had a few questions concerning Bill Starr's 5x5 workout routine... Firstly, i workout alone so will doing the assigned workouts on machines be detramental, or will i not see the same intended results as someone not using a machine? Secondly... i currently workout 5 days a week for lifting and 3 (MWF) for running, i don't like to feel like i am slacking off so what should i do on the days between Starr's scheduled workout days? Should i keep it just to cardio, or if i were to do some of the lifts i already do (say more bicep and tricep, maybe a little more chest (pec dec) and shoulders) would this be counteracting/hurting the cork i'm putting in on the "power lift" days? Lastly, how long should i do his program, i like the definition i have, but getting bigger never hurts... so like 4-6 weeks then back to a different routine? And is there anything i should do before i start the Starr Power Lifting Cycle?
