protein shakes and women

Hey there,

I'm 22 and very active (spending up to 2 hours in the gym sometimes). I started drinking protein shakes after my workout (only one scoop) to replenish my muscles.

do you guys advise women drinking protein shakes or is it too much protein for me? i'm almost addicted to them and feel guilty if i don't drink one after a workout!!

what's your routine like too?

i want a toned body overall. i don't shoot for a specific weight..just beach body ready all year long. I work out 6 days a week. running close to 30 miles a week. I eat healthy, salads, good carbs, snakes like yogurt and pretty portion controlled meals.
i don't want to bulk up but i do want to maintain my muscles. with a lot of running and protein shakes, i worry about the legs getting big

I drink protein shakes after every work out and feel that I stay leaner and more sculpted year round by doing so. I think they are a great idea for women. We need protein just like the guys do - every day I actually try to get 1 gram of protein for each pound I weigh. I lift weights 3 times a week and do cardio 6 days a week. I think you are on the right track!

protein shakes are no different than meat. i advise women eat meat.
ergo, protein shakes are ok for women.

its all about your daily calorie and macronutrient needs.
 
Protica the Best protien shake in my Opnion!

i have been using protica since 2 yrs i feel its the best brand of protien shakes tht one cud use....also the fact being tht its available in different flavours.. would post a link in a while of the website do try it
