ok im new to this site
im really skinny i only weigh about 105 pounds!-im 17
i eat and eat and eat nothing happens
ive worked out a few summers ago and i started getting a six pac-probabaly cause im so skinny
but after a while, nothing i would do would help make it progress it just stayed like that
so i stopped working out for like a year and now the six pac is even more fainter than ever
i want to start working out but what should a skinny guy like me do?
also i want to start working out my arms they are small and im always getting punches at them
its time i punch back

What foods do you eat? How many calories do you take in per day? Eat more but eat well. Increase your protein intake as well as carbs. Continue going to the gym. I recommend a split routine to gain mass. Here's a link for some split routines (and exercises if you need them):

As for your arms, namely biceps and triceps, I recommend doing straight bar bicep curls, preacher curls, skull crushers, and tricep push downs. They are under "exercises" for that link.

Gives us a good idea of what your diet and lifting schedule is like and we'll see what we can do.

Eat lots, if ur not gaining weight, ur not eating enough. eat often and eat big.. and do compound exersices

thanks for that routine page but he doesnt give any ab exercises-like evrybody- i want to get a six pack too
i dont really want to start going to the gym again but if i must i guess ill have to
but for now what good exersises can i do at home for-

abs: i have an ab slide and a swiss ball is that good? and what exercises should i do?

chest:?i dont know what i could do

back: my back kills a lot especially when i work on my abs its really weak and i dont know of an back workouts help!-those dumbell rows for the back i dont do them correctly and my back just kills more

arms: every house is equipped with dumbells!

legs: i guess ill jog..
also what foods should i eat any examples... cause i do eat almost everything i guess im just not eating the right stuff...
hope im not asking too much
if anyone can help me thanks

@ big angry hippo
ok ive decided to use the split routine youve shown me
it looks the least complicated and most undersdtanding
thanks

but being that im not going to the gym i dont know what to do for my chest
all the exercises ive found have to do with things i dont have :(
i need exersises that involve just my body and dumbells maybe a bench or a few other things

also on wich day should i work out my abs for the 3-4 day workout?
also is an ab slide bad to use or not im told its not the greatest way to exersise is that true

Ok...the chest is one of the harder muscles to train without a bench and an olympic bar. If you're getting dumbbells...you might want to pick up a few heavier ones. You can do dumbbell bench presses. They're great for your stabilizing muscles. If not, push ups man. Get 3 chairs, two of em 3 feet apart, one by your feet. Get on em and do a push up. The chairs let you go down further than doing push ups on the ground, offering greater range of motion. If you can, stuff some weights in a backpack and do them with added resistance. Also, vary your pushups. Do diamond ups (hands form a diamond, put it beneath your sternum / chest, great for your triceps too).

I work my abs after my workout. You don't need to do them everyday, you can do them on your off days. Aim for about 3-4 days of abs. As for the abslide, you can incorporate them if you wish. Definitely start with the standard crunch but do the abslide later on to add variation to your work out.

Thanks for visiting by the way! Good luck!

hey vandy have u tried it? (fastmuscles)...get it in my email all the time (offers etc)...but i read somewhere that all u do is eat which isn't so bad cos we all love to eat!!!that's the rob maraby one isn't it?

Fast Muscle Gain

That program basically tells you to eat lots of calories, and protein. It doesn't tell you to eat EVERYTHING, just a lot of anything that's not junk food. It also tells you to use free weights instead of machines. That's basically that program right there.

I support it.. And so does everyone i know who is on it.. lots of people talk trash about it but they have read it so, their opinions mean nothing.

There is always more than one way to skin a cat.. if you can dedicate time and focus to a program, i would also place my stamp of approval on the AE's program.

dude you need to start bulking up =]
dont worry about your 6 pack right now, what you need to gain weight.
eat good food, with high protein, and low fat. monosaturates are good , and also the fish omega-8 fats
