Exercise after a workout

I am a PE teacher and also work for an after school program. I have been working out between the two jobs. I usualy do the activities with the kids. Is it going to hurt my progress if I continue to do the activies with the kids? I have been playing basketball during the afterschool program
 
Are you doing cardio or strength training? If cardio, I don't see a problem. If you are lifting, you obviously want to rest as much as possible afterwards. The recovery is the most important part of strength training.
 
you need to eat a lot more especcially around training times,after weights and before,get some protein and carbs in.
 
I am currently doing a 3 day a week full body work out. I have tried to increase my cal's to compenstate for the higher activity levels. Right now my only rest is about 7-8 hours a night
