Does this sound decent?

Hey, I'm a 17 year old female. 5'10" and a half, around 200 pounds. I've never felt particularly insecure about my weight up until recently, and I've decided it's time to do something about it.

Considering my calories are in check, will the following exercise program assist me in losing body fat? If not, would anyone be able to give me tips on things I could do to improve it? I do have plans to change it up some days, but this is what I have so far:

- 10 minutes of intense 1-on-1 halfcourt basketball (my sister is doing the program with me)
- Jogging approximately 500m/walking 1km (the walking involves a steep slope on the way back up)
- 30 step-ups
- 10 crunches
- 15 squats
- 5 press-ups
- 15 wall press-ups

I do believe I'll be able to do all of these things without collapsing - considering my weight, I think my level of fitness is pretty decent.
So yeah. Help?

Any exercise that expends additional calories above and beyond what you ordinarily do will 'help' your weight loss efforts.

It turns out that my BMR is 1783.5 and according to FitDay.com my calorie intake per day should be somewhere around the 2300 mark.
Yesterday, I ate just over 1000 calories and burned just over 3000. Thus far today (it's 5:38pm), I've eaten around 950 and burned like 2,400 and I haven't even worked out yet. I can't help but to eat less calories than I should - I just don't get hungry. I think my main problem prior to my decision to lose weight was the fact that I regularly went all day without eating and then binged big time at night on unhealthy foods.

Not a smart move. Unless you're not interested in health, performance and looking good.

you're eating just over half of what you should be eating every day.. trust me when i say it's going to be a struggle to a) lose weight and b) keep any weight loss permanent. You NEED calories to keep your metabolism running..

on another topic, your workout routine will need a lot of work. for a total noob like you, it's decent. but for max lasting results long term, you will need a greater emphasis on resistance training. like take your current program and quadruple it. and add actualy weights to it, not just bodyweight squats.. also, cardio comes after resistance training.
