I've been reading these forums for a while now, but this is my first message
I started my weight loss journey about 10 weeks ago, have gone from 61kgs (134) to 55 kgs (121). My goal weight was 55, but now I'm here, I think I want to get to 53 or so.
Anyways ! I've been alternating between walking and running 4-5 times a week and also doing weight training (using dumbbells at home) 2-3 times a week.
My problem is, I am SOOOOO bored with the weight training. Every time I know I have to do it, I dread it and wish it was over before it has even begun. I enjoyed it when I started it 8 or so weeks ago and really want to keep doing weight training as I think it's important. I have gone from 3kg dumbbells to 4kg ones and can see myself getting to 5kg ones soon.
I guess I could change the exercises I do, but I think I am doing the ones I should be doing - so don't want to NOT do them, but don't want to do them either.
I should possibly just suck it up and get on with it and chances are I will, but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make myself more motivated, or anything I can do to enjoy the training a bit more ?
Thanks !
